Usually on my birthdays I like to lounge around at home and relax, and then celebrate some other time with friends. However this year my birthday was pretty busy. I got up (sort of) early to play my new game on my xbox, then a couple of hours later my parents got up so I opened my presents then. I got some really cool stuff, some of my favourites being a computer game I have wanted for ages, a beautiful silver necklace, the classic film 'Vanishing point', and a whole selection of motor racing DVDs and games.
After that the Hungarian Grand Prix was on, so I sat down and watched that with my family, as I always do during Grand Prix weekends. Then I got possibly the best present of the day when Lewis Hamilton won, after an admittedly crappy season so far. That made me a very happy birthday girl
Then after I had watched the British motoGP and some family friends had come round for a bit, we went out for a pizza at my favourite Italian restaurant.
For another birthday treat, me and my dad have tickets for the Formula 2 race at Donington in early August and I'm really looking forward to that. I just hope it doesn't rain in traditional British style

I'm feeling jealous from the London motor show you have over there. We don't even get one in Perth anymore!
